I think there's no amount of distance great enough to get away from all the things I'm feeling right this minute

been having strange dreams of new tattoos and getting married even though there's no one around to do these things with

all these people keep calling me and calling me and I know they want to talk to me but I don't even know what they're saying
I haven't spoken to them for years
also
I'm unemployed now and sincerely hope to never land another job again
I started smoking again even though I promised my mother I never would but I guess nothing is sacred, so here we are, I've started smoking again

I keep telling myself that maybe the world will seem a little less loud through a soft vignette of smoke clouds
but also whatever

I just want to get in a car and slam the door shut

to see sunflowers

and as I'm flipping through my mental journals from the past year, all these memories are resurfacing and I don't really know what to do with them so I'll just light another cigarette
